"Citea Carcassonne La Barbacane Hotel location was amazing" Citea Carcassonne La Barbacane Hotel location was amazing. From our window we could see the Cite and it was beautiful day or night. It was very quiet and the staff was excellent. We liked that the rooms all had kitchens with a fridge and microwave.

"is 5 minutes walk away from the old City " Citea Carcassonne La Barbacane Hotel is 5 minutes walk away from the old City via a very steep hill and the Porte Aude. The hotel itself is a bit of an experience and is quite unusual. The rooms are large and clean but as everything is white it almost comes across as clinical. The aircon was quite welcome during the hot nights though. I did not like the breakfast too much. I have had nicer and more varied ones for less money during the holiday.
